Session 7 - The One Where They Made Baby Noises At A Dragon

25th Oct 2020 19:00 - 22:30 In-game timeline: DR1489 Elesias 6 - Eleasias 7 Our "Heroes" decide to heroically rest outside the Fallen Fortress, at the top of the ravine, having allowed the rescued kobolds return to Yussi at the Kobold Den, along with the young goblin girl, Hersch, who they promised to take good care of and try to ensure the next generation of goblins and kobolds may have a better working relationship. Meepo is rather critical of the number of rests our "Heroes" seem to take. The elves volunteer to take watch, allowing the dragonborn and human to have a full night's rest. Nothing seems to emerge from the fortress overnight, though there was some movement in the trees in the other direction. Carro tries to wake Kandi up with a badly aimed rock. And fails. The movement ceases. The rest of the night passes uneventfully. Heading back into the Fortress, the group of decisive adventurers wonder whether they should head in a different direction this tim

Session 6 - The One Where They Ended Up Back Where They Started

17th Oct 2020 19:00 - 22:00 In-game timeline: DR1489 Elesias 6 - Eleasias 6 Our "Heroes" are standing amongst a pair of dead goblins who paid a high price for daring to fire arrows at the party as they struggled to cross a caltrop-strewn floor. Our brave heroes, faced with an unknown number of unknown foes in an unknown room decided to turn back the way they came and look at a few other things more closely, that they only glanced at previously. They crept back to the dragon fountain room and looked at the fountain a bit more. Then went back up to the place where they had killed some rats previously, and progressed a little further, finding another dry dragon fountain in a room with two disarmed pit traps. The traps seemed to contain bones, bits of metal and lots of dirt and mess, so the party ignored those and headed towards a connecting room.  Carro spots movement in the room, and is not surprised when more giant rats emerge from the smelly mess to attack the party, includin

Session 5 - The One Where They Forged Ahead

11th Oct 2020 19:00 - 22:00 In-game timeline: DR1489 Elesias 6 - Eleasias 6 Our "Heroes" are standing before a fortress that, ages past, fell into a chasm by process unknown. Slightly battered and bruised from a run-in with some twigs, they are understandably cautious. Tommy decides to ignore the slightly open door and shimmy up the rough, crumbling walls to see if there's an alternative way in, or to see if he can get the jump of anybody waiting just inside. He manages to get up the wall, but the upper floor is completely crumbled and ruined, and the ceiling of the lower floor is intact, so he is unable to see down. So they walk in the door instead. How conventional. The first room is the remains of a circular tower. No way up as the old staircase is completely blocked, but there are two doors, leading north-west and south-west. Three bodies of kobolds lie on the floor, killed a while ago, and another is stapled to the far wall by a spear to his chest. Mahtis completely

Session 4 - The One Where They Had A Mighty Battle

28th Sep 2020 19:30 - 22:15 In-game timeline: DR1489 Elesias 5 - Eleasias 6 We rejoin the Heroes Of The Realm in Oakhurst, having spent time and money training up to become even more awesome than they were before, destroying beliefs that this was not possible. A trip to the shops was in order. Mahtis decided that asking to 'borrow' armour from the local guards would be a fine way to make friends in town. She was unfortunately, and unexplainedly, given short shrift from Felosial and her deputy, Helga, at such a suggestion, but was asked to visit the Mayor before they departed from the town, as word of their heroics had obviously reached the higher echelons of the town and Mayor Vernor Leng was keen to talk to them. Meanwhile Tommy, Carro and Kandi were visiting the general store and encountered a frog. Not a run-of-the-mill frog such as you may see on any lily-pond, but a giant frog, as large as a man, waiting patiently outside the shop. Kandi had the fantastic idea to cast &quo
